A travel and tourism company known for partnering with local businesses to market Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Wrightsville Beach as ideal vacation destinations.
Strategy
As the social media coordinator for Wilmington and Island Beaches, I managed content across Facebook, X and Pinterest for 4 different destinations, for a total of 12 accounts, to elevate brand awareness and drive tourism to the North Carolina coast. The primary goals of these accounts were to increase engagement, highlight seasonal travel inspiration, and grow a loyal community of travelers and locals.
How we met this account’s goals:
Created and scheduled daily content tailored to each platform, including reels, stories, and static posts.
Developed strategic monthly content calendars with themes tied to seasonal events, beach activities, and local culture.
Analyzed performance metrics monthly to optimize posting times, creative formats, and copywriting.
Incorporated user-generated content to build community trust and authenticity.
Collaborated closely with the client to align content with ongoing PR campaigns and travel initiatives.
